NC Courage face the Pride of Orlando Tomorrow

Defending NWSL and ICC titleholders, NC Courage face star laden Orlando at Sahlen's Stadium at WakeMed Park, 7 p.m. In their opener, 2 USWNT teammates, one from Long Island, Crystal Dunn had the lone goal with the assist off a throw in by Jessica McDonald, the first goal and assist for each on the year of course with many to follow. Dunn held the ball for a few touches then hit a low blistering shot into the lower 90.  For their parts last year, Jess had 8 assists in 2018 as Crystal had the same goal total. Leah Pruitt started her NWSL career as the #5 NWSL pick came on in the 70'. 

Orlando on the other hand dropped their first of the year facing Portland, 2-0, relenting in each half for the new gafffer, Marc Skinner. Last time it was NC 3-0 as in Aug. of 2018, Debhina of the Brazil national team and Lynn Williams each had a goal following an own goal. NC leads the series 4-2-0, this preseason NC also prevailed 4-0 on March 23, with Meredith Speck, McDonald, Williams & Julia Spetsmark finding the back of the net for the victors.
