The midfielder of the first year team has been voted as the MLS Player of the Week on the strength of his brace leading his team over the Dynamo 3-1 away on Wed., his first dual goal game. On the year, he now has a trio of both goals and assists, his team now sits at 8th in the East with 21 points.
His first goal came at 15' from an assist by Danladi, he beat a defender in the box and his shot went from his right foot to the left post to the netting.
Danladi joined the party getting one of his own at 19' then it was 3-0 in the 23' as another right footed rocket from beyond the penalty area found the upper left corner for Mukhtar.
