• MLS All-Stars beat Liga MX All-Stars, 2-1 With goals from Carlos Vela and Raul Ruidiaz, the MLS All-Stars held off the Liga MX All-Stars for the second straight year, securing a 2-1 victory in the 2022 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target on Wednesday night at Allianz Field. The MLS All-Stars got the party started early with Vela heading home a cross from LAFC teammate Diego Palacios in the third minute. Ruidiaz added to the MLS All-Stars' lead in the second half through a penalty kick after New England Revolution playmaker Carles Gil wiggled his way through the Liga MX defense.
• East tops West 3-0 in Special Olympics Unified All-Star Game: The Eastern Conference took a 3-0 victory over their West counterparts in Wednesday's Special Olympics Unified All-Star Game presented by MLS WORKS, ESPN and Coca-Cola at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minn.
• East downs West in inaugural MLS NEXT All-Star Game presented by Allstate: A goal from one of American soccer’s brightest youth prospects, a training-ground penalty kick routine and a late winner – the inaugural MLS NEXT All-Star Game presented by Allstate had it all Wednesday at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minn. Team East rallied for a 2-1 victory over Team West, scoring twice inside the game’s final minutes.
• St. Clair named MLS All-Star Game MVP: Minnesota United FC goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair was named 2022 MLS All-Star MVP after a solid display in goal for the MLS All-Stars, helping the team secure a 2-1 win over the Liga MX All-Stars. St. Clair joined the match in the 32nd minute, came up big 12 minutes later with a huge save on a Juan Dinenno header to preserve a 1-0 lead.
