NEW YORK (Tuesday, February 21, 2023) — Earlier today, Major League Soccer unveiled a 3D experience on LG’s Times Square billboard promoting MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app, the first-ever from a major North American sports league, to celebrate the start of the 2023 season. Apple TV is available on Smart TVs including LG OLED TVs.
The live-action billboard features LA Galaxy striker Javier “Chicharito” Hernández and goalkeeper Jonathan Bond, along with Los Angeles FC star Ilie Sánchez, who helped the team win its first-ever MLS Cup last season. Apple TV is available on Smart TVs including LG OLED TVs.
The unveiling featured appearances from former New York Red Bulls great Bradley Wright-Phillips, MLS star Diego Valeri and MLS Season Pass host Kaylyn Kyle, who were onsite to talk about their excitement around the billboard and upcoming season.
