Sean,
I can tell everyone here that
Gino de Polito, the referee was a class individual incredibly professional and also very down to earth
He did an incredible job over the years of the MISL developing into one of the Premier soccer leagues that we had in our country for a time
I can remember many times that I would get into it with Gino and he would always say something that made me come back down to earth and not get myself a two minute penalty
He was definitely a special one and I am so glad that I got to know him and get to be on the field with him for many Years.

Michael had a 17 year pro career, titles in various leagues. His father is in the National Soccer Hall of Fame, Peter, so he knows first hand the honor it is for the family as well to have one inducted.
