The Hermann Trophy, soccer's answer to the Heisman has announced both the Men and Women semifinalists to be narrowed down on Dec. 7, with the College Cup in California. The grand event and reveal of the winners will be of course at the Missouri Athletic Club and their banquet in St. Louis. Jan. 4. Two up for this honor are from NY, from Wake Forest by way of the Bronx, Omir Fernandez a Sophmore forward and Samantha Coffey from Sleepy Hollow, attending Boston College as a Sophmore Forward. NJ has another, Alana Cook of Far Hills Sophmore midfielder out at Stanford is one of 3 cardinals vying for this.
