Long Beach player, Horgan is back home with youth coach Riley in NC

Defending NWSL champions, North Carolina Courage have inked Clemson standout Shannon Horgan who last season was playing in Europe. She joins a long list of players from the youth teams on LI coached by Long Island Soccer Legend Paul Riley in this the top league on the planet. Shannon had been invitee into camp at the start of it and we are so happy she has caught on. Shannon joins fellow Long Islander Crystal Dunn on the team as they defend their titles both in the league and ICC torney. Horgan had been with the USWNT U-20 & 23 teams as she was invited to their camps on 3 occasions. Coach Paul Riley spoke well of his reuniteed player, "Shannon is a tremendous athlete with a gifted left foot. Her speed, strength and ability one-on-one make her ideal for our player profile."
