This summer, you don’t necessarily need a ticket to NYNJ Stadium to feel the energy of the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

Governor Kathy Hochul, Mayor Zohran Mamdani, and the FIFA World Cup 2026™ NYNJ Host Committee are partnering to bring free, official NYNJ Fan Events across all five boroughs.

Live match screenings, cultural performances, local food, and the kind of atmosphere you only get when thousands of fans come together for the game.

What This Means

Some of the best World Cup moments don’t happen inside the stadium.

They happen in the crowd. In the roar after the goal. In the shared experience with who you came with and thousands of people you’ve never met.

That’s what we’re building: a 39-day, regional celebration where every New Yorker and visitor to the region can be part of the World Cup.
