HARRISON, N.J. (August 9, 2016) - New York Red Bulls Homegrown defender Connor Lade will miss the rest of the 2016 season due to a torn ACL. Lade suffered the right knee injury in New York's 2-2 draw at Los Angeles Sunday night.

 Lade will undergo surgery later this month.

The Homegrown defender was in the midst of his best season yet as a professional in 2016 for the Red Bulls. Lade, a native of Morristown, N.J., has made 20 appearances and 16 starts for New York this season across all competitions.

June 8, 2016-In the Boys-Under-13 State Open Cup final between two Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL) teams, Oceanside Strikers registered an emphatic 5-1 win over Syosset Sao Paulo on June 4 at Stringham Park in LaGrange.

As Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) champs, Oceanside will play in the Regionals from June 30 to July 5 in Barboursville, West Virginia and Eastern New York will help pay for their costs.

June 8, 2016-The Levittown Wildcats of the Long Island Junior Soccer League (LIJSL) won their second consecutive State Open Cup title with a 4-3 squeaker over Staten Island United Blaze of the Staten Island Youth Soccer League (SIYSL) and Eastern New York Premier League (ENYPL). This Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) Girls-Under-13 State Open Cup final was played on June 4 at Stringham Park in LaGrange.
