Lens punish sloppy PSG
Lens inflicted a first defeat of the season on PSG with a 3-1 win at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis.
Przemysław Frankowski tucked away the opener for Lens after five minutes but the hosts' lead was short lived when Hugo Ekitike nipped in to equalise three-minutes later. Lens regained the lead through Lois Openda (28') before Alexis Claude-Maurice took advantage of some sloppy defending to finish off the league leaders three-minutes after half time.
"It was a magnificent match," said victorious Lens coach Franck Haise who celebrated his 100th game in charge of the club. "We must enjoy these great moments. We sang a little [with the crowd after the game], it creates memories and emotions. It is these emotions that people will remember in years to come."
