Mbappé seals late PSG victory
Kylian Mbappé once again came to Paris Saint-Germain's rescue as he scored in injury time to beat Rennes 1-0 at the Parc des Princes.
Mbappé's fine finish in the third minute of injury time was PSG's only shot on target during the match but it was enough to keep the capital club 13 points clear at the top of the table ahead of Tuesday night's Champions League clash with Real Madrid.
"It was a tough game for us but it's good to win in that way,'' said PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino after seeing his side score an injury-time winner for the sixth time this season. "I'm very happy because it was a difficult game. Rennes are a very good team who play with a lot of tactical discipline, but overall we deserved to win."

Lyon prove too strong for Nice

Lyon condemned Nice to a second-consecutive league defeat after a 2-0 win over Christophe Galtier's side at the Groupama Stadium.
Moussa Dembélé opened the scoring from the penalty spot (8') before the returning Karl Toko Ekambi sealed the points (52').

Milik wins it in style
Marseille took full advantage of Nice’s defeat at Lyon by defeating Metz 2-1 at the Stade Saint-Symphorien to keep a stranglehold on second place.
Cédric Bakambu poached the opener for OM from six yards out (26') before Habib Maiga equalised for the hosts shortly after the interval. Substitute Arkadiusz Milik settled matters for Jorge Sampaoli's side with a superb overhead kick (82'), to extend their lead over Les Aiglons to four points. Metz stays on the 19th.
"I don't score all the time but I'm glad I helped my team win,'' said Milik after his match-winning strike. "Taking three points was the most important thing for us. We are very happy with the result but we know that we can play better. We are happy to have a four-point lead over Nice but there are still a lot of matches left."

Redemption for LOSC
Jocelyn Gourvennec's LOSC bounced back from last weekend's thrashing at the hands of PSG to win 1-0 at Montpellier.
Xeka smashed home the winner 13 minutes from time to hand LOSC three precious points, putting them firmly in the mix for European qualification.

"I am very happy with the victory, but also with the way we played throughout the game,'' said a delighted Lyon coach Peter Bosz. "From the first minute to the last, I liked everything we did both with and without the ball. The players were not afraid to play and I am very happy with that."
