Last Hudson River Derby of 2018 on Tap for Wed at Yankee Stadium 7p.m.

By Sean McCaffery, August 21, 2018

Both NY teams have won one as they and their fans are geared up for this, the rubber match. The visiting Red Bulls bring a stellar record of 15-6-3 with 48 points to the Bronx with an all but a mirror image NYCFC record of 14-6-5 and 47 points, this game has serious implications for their division.

TV Coverage is by FS1, FOX Sports GO & New York Red Bulls Radio in English with Spanish found on TuneIn. NYRB Radio is live at 6:30 with the Honda Countdown to Kickoff hosted by Matt Harmon, Ernesto Motta has the Spanish play-by-play from the kick.

RBNY won the initial encounter of the year rather convincingly 4-0 at home, with their pressing play being just too much on May 5. July 8 in Da Bronx, again the home team prevailed 1-0. RBNY have dropped the last 3 away in this seriesnow  hoping to turn that tide and put an end to the undefeated home season of NYCFC at 10-0-2 all at once. NYRB fares rather well on the road with the 2nd most wins there in the league with 6, having not lost in their last 3 games

Daniel Royer heats up with the weather it seems, last year he hit for 6 goals in 4 games now has 6 goals in 6 games and 2 braces in the last 3, we posted a great photo of him while upside down doing his flip just feet away. He now has10 goals on the year with 2 facing the 'Caps marking his 2nd straight year with 10 goals or more.
