June 6 will be the first night of the soccer film festival Kicking & Screening, it will be the night of women's soccer, themed "Against All Odds" supported by local NWSL team, Sky Blue. The subject of the short, Tracy Hamm and her battle to get coaching certifications and then the pitfalls while getting them is very well depicted in "Coach" which I have now seen multiple times. It is a great movie for young female soccer players to see to really appreciate their lot in the game and Sky Blue is fully behind this. Out of 120 films that were submitted the fact that any given one is picked is great, this film is tremendous and a great fit for this 11th year of the festival. Tracy and the team behind the movie will be joined by the Sky Blue team as they will be disseminating promotional material and team premiums throughout the evening. Team personnel will be present as will a ticket to each and every attendee for their upcoming game with Orlando on June 22.
