The KC Comets, an historic Indoor Soccer team now playing Arena Soccer, same game just a re-brand won this title as they bested the equally historic Wichita Wings, in Wichita. Adam James achieved Golden Boot stats with his 6 goals on his heels was the Comet player Kevin Ellis with 5. The Comets beat each team, running the table at 3-0 and an impressive 16 goal differential.
The victors start the new season on the Road Jan. facing the Sidekicks, then a pair of games Jan. 8 & 10 in Lakeland FL, Jan. 16 in St,. Louis, then the home opener with the Stars and Danny Waltman Fri. Jan. 22 7 p.m..
