Jimmy Medranda Kneeds the Rest of the Year off due to Cartilage

Sporting KC defender, Jimmy Medranda will be out from a knee surgery for the rest of the year. Last week, he underwent surgery showing damage in his left knee, another surgery is coming, sidelining him for 8 months.  The 24 year old had been in each of the first 12 games for SKC, starting 8, getting 2 goals and an assist, the first in a 4-3 victory facing the Fire March 10 and then the goal of the week candidate in a 6-0 drubbing of the 'Caps April 20, on the 15th, his assist went to Zusi and the tying goal facing Seattle. Having been with SKC since 2013, he has totalled 5 goals along with 6 assists over 97 matches overall for the team.
