Inter Miami CF to Debut Nu Stadium on Saturday Night
When construction on the Miami Freedom Park project began in 2023, Inter Miami CF embarked on one of the most ambitious stadium projects in MLS. On Saturday, the opening of Nu Stadium at Miami Freedom Park will be an iconic moment in the club’s brief history.
The 26,700-seat Nu Stadium is set to open on Saturday when the reigning MLS Cup presented by Audi champions host Austin FC (7:30 p.m. ET, MLS on Apple TV). Located in the heart of Miami, the stadium will provide panoramic views of downtown while also being steps away from public transit. With a wide range of fan areas and La Familia on the north side of the stadium, the atmosphere on Saturday will be fit for a champion.
Nu Stadium’s debut continues the league’s stadium boom, marking the 27th venue built or renovated for an MLS club. Through March the league has been averaging 23,333 fans per match, a 6% increase over 2025, and with New York City FC and Chicago Fire FC set to open their new stadiums in the coming years, there has never been a better time to experience an MLS match.
