When and where is the 2022 FIFA World Cup? For the first time ever, the tournament will be held in early winter – November 21 to December 18 – across eight stadiums in and around Doha, Qatar.
How do I apply for tickets from U.S. Soccer’s allotment of 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™ tickets?
U.S. Soccer receives a very limited number of tickets to USMNT matches. Due to high demand, tickets will be distributed via a Random Weighted Draw, exclusively to U.S. Soccer Insiders. U.S. Soccer Insiders can apply for tickets to all USMNT matches at any time between April 5-May 15 (exact dates to be confirmed), by accessing a FIFA Ticket Office portal exclusively for U.S. Supporters. The application process is not first-come, first-served. Fans can apply at any point during the application window.
Pro tip: Circle Insiders will have best access to tickets (access to the first pot in the draw, and each subsequent pot) – so consider upgrading your Insider membership for the best chance at tickets. www.ussoccer.com/Insiders.
What are the eligibility requirements to apply for tickets as a U.S. Soccer fan?
First, you and all your guests must be an active U.S. Soccer Insider, at any level. (Guests are individuals that would use the applicant’s other purchased tickets.) If you’re not already an Insider – no problem: join at any Insider level by late April to enter. Join at ussoccer.com/insiders or by clicking here.
Below is a full list of eligibility requirements to apply for World Cup tickets. Applicants must:
Be a U.S. Soccer Insider (as detailed above)
Be a citizen or resident of the United States
Have a valid passport prior to applying
Be at least 18 years of age at the time they apply for tickets
Does being a U.S. Soccer Insider and completing the application process guarantee me 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™ tickets?
No. Insiders who apply through the FIFA Ticket Office portal are not guaranteed tickets, as the number of tickets requested will likely exceed the allocation available. If or when this happens, a weighted random selection draw will be conducted to determine which applicants are awarded tickets. You can see the weighted random selection draw process here.
How much will tickets cost?
FIFA determines all pricing across three different categories, and prices may vary by match. Each stadium is configured differently, so descriptions may change but generally adhere to the following:
Category 1: Highest-priced and located in prime areas within the stadium Category 2: Located outside of the Category 1 area Category 3: Most affordable category, and located outside of the Category 1 and 2 areas Category 4: Tickets in this category are only available to Qatar residents.

Can I apply for tickets to non-USA matches in Qatar through U.S. Soccer’s allotment?
U.S. Soccer’s allotment is for tickets to U.S. matches only, including each of the USMNT’s three First Round matches. U.S. Soccer fans also have the opportunity to request conditional tickets for the USMNT’s possible knockout round games, including the Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Final/Third Place Game. Conditional tickets will only be issued if the U.S. advances.
Does U.S. Soccer provide any VIP packages for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar ™ Matches?
Yes – though we recognize it may not be for everyone. The U.S. Soccer Patrons Program to Qatar is the Federation’s most exclusive travel program, including accommodations, MATCH tickets, behind-the-scenes access, ground transportation, U.S. Soccer gear, and more.
