Gotham FC Forward Midge Purce Suffers Season-Ending Injury

HARRISON, NJ (Wednesday, March 27, 2024) – NJ/NY Gotham FC today confirmed that forward Midge Purce suffered a season-ending anterior cruciate ligament injury during the club’s match against the Portland Thorns at Providence Park on Sunday, March 24. Purce will undergo surgery.

Editor's Note: Missing is if she injured it the first or second time, then she came out after unlucky #3 near the touchline, stating as we stated in our write up "I'm Out" a number of times. So early in the season now lost for the balance of it and Olympics.
