Game Day Media: Gotham FC vs. Kansas City Current (1 p.m. ET Saturday, Sports Illustrated Stadium)
HARRISON, N.J. (June 7, 2025) – Gotham FC returns to NWSL play Saturday afternoon, hosting the league-leading Kansas City Current at Sports Illustrated Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET, with broadcast coverage available on CBS.
Following this afternoon’s match, Gotham FC will celebrate its historic victory in the 2024-25 Concacaf W Champions Cup. With the win, Gotham clinched a spot in the 2026 FIFA Women’s Champions Cup and the inaugural 2028 FIFA Women’s Club World Cup, the two biggest club competitions in global professional women’s soccer. Players will be honored at midfield, and the team will once again lift the Concacaf W Champions Cup trophy in front of fans at Sports Illustrated Stadium. Photographers wishing to capture the celebration should notify a photo marshal, who will assist with access to the midfield balcony for postmatch coverage.
Following the postmatch celebrations, Gotham FC owner and club governor Carolyn Tisch Blodgett and NWSL commissioner Jessica Berman will be available for questions in the mixed zone. Media wishing to participate in the mixed zone and ensuing postmatch press conference should enter through the Toyota Gate corridor, where Gotham FC staff will assist with escorting media to the designated areas. Media will also be escorted postmatch from the press box to the press conference room and mixed zone.
