This event presented by Contienental Tire, a new sponsor on their youth level, at Soldier field is for their first game back, in the MLS is Back tourney. This free event will show the game facing a new MLS team, Nashville FC, July 8 at 9:30 p.m. CT, on the Waldron Deck. You may enter 90 minutes pre game to watch the game on twin large screens on the deck. The first kickoff of a pro team in the Windy CIty was by the NWSL team, Chicago Red Stars on June 27.
John Urban, team CO informed, "We're thrilled to partner with Continental Tire to bring this unique Drive-in event to the Soldier Field campus. We'll eventually have our day inside Soldier Field, but in the meantime, we look forward to celebrating alongside our fans as our Club returrns to play on July 8."
You must sign up ahead of time at chicagofirefc.com/drive-in. The time set aside for season ticket holders, registered supporters groups, Fire JuniorsĀ & corporate partners is just about over. Though free, it is requested that attendees make a small $10 donation to the team's foundation, PLAYS Program. The max is 300 vehicles on a first come first serve basis, due to the no guarantee to entry, you are encouraged to arrrive early. Continental further will supply you with their snack box, with water, popcorn and candy to help you enjoy the game, you may also be able to try and win a Continental Tire scarf.
Throughout the evening it is a must to follow the local and state rules relative ot COVID -19, if out of the vehicle, a mask is a must, hand sanitizers will be present, the lavatorys are to be cleaned on a recurringĀ fashion. No cooking or alcohol is allowed, no mention made of tailgating?
