DC United get more, they get Mora from Saprissa

The season has begun but DC United is harldy done adding players, Joseph Mora arrives on a permanent transfer. The 25 year old had one goal and 2 assists over 83 games during which time they earned 2 Costa Rican Invierno Titles. DC HC, Dave Kasper is happy to have settled the transaction, feeling they now have a skilled defender who has great qualities heading their way, bringing with him a lot of history of first team and international games. Joseph began in LD Alajuelense Academy  then on to top league team Guadalupe on July 1, 2011 debuting Apr. 8, 2012 a 4-2 loss with Saprissa. He continued on getting one goal  and assist in 61 games with Guadalupe in 3 years. Mora was then off to CS Uraguay de Coronado for the 2012 & 15 seasons with one assist over 11 games. He links up again with ex temmate from Saprissa, Ulises Segura acquired Dec. 21. 2017, together they played in 57 games beginnning in 2015 but were parts of the team that took the Costa Rican Invierno Champiionships. While with the CR youth national teams then the U-23's in the 2015 CONCACAF Olympic qualifiers  he was in all 3 games losing to Mexico and Honduras while tying Haiti. He further was in the 2015 Toulon Tournament, 2015 Central America and Caribbean games, 2013 Central American games, 2011 Pan American games, 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup, 2011 CONCACAF U-20  Championship and the 2009 U-19 FIFA World Cup.
