Their fixture with Chelsea on March 18 in the Champions League at Allianz Arena, marking its 120th anniversary was not to be, so now the commemorative items are to be turned into masks. This is part and parcel of helping the "WeKickCorona" effort by players Josuah Kimmich & Leon Goretzka. These protective masks for young and old alike have the masks going to the players venture as they distribute them to groups in need from food banks, and hosptials in need of medical equipment, homeless and also blood donations as there is now a massive shortfall. A Bavarian company is repurposing them into protective masks.
