A pair of games in New England kicked off with Boston City and a 3-1 win. Different players, same result with Ricardo Bocanegra getting one at 13', @ 17' the home team tied it up only to have Bocanegra complete his brace on an assist from Darwin Espinal at 19' off a crossing ball, as Ricardo cleaned up his own rebound in putting it past Katz. Espinal got back on the scoresheet with a goal putting him also on the scoreboard at 65', his 4th in 3 games facing Boston City FC. A 5 p.m. start the next day means more players are getting more minutes, this will serve to keep all fresh and fit.
Now begins a long homestand to close out the regular season at the fortress that is Mitchel Field as they seek to run the table on their opposition in the NPSL. June 23 sees the Greater Lowell Diamonds make the trip for an 5 p.m. game, June 30, local foe Broooklyn Italians July 3 at 8 p.m. & closing it out with the Kingston Stockade July 6, 7 p.m.
