Cone re-Eelected, Aerner Fricker Award, Board Members etc from USSF AGM

Voted in are Cindy Parlow Cone again as VP, Juan Uro as an Independent Director of the USSF Board of Directors. US Soccer Member Orgainizations voted in were Cerebral Palsy Soccer, National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) & United Futsal, the National Armed Services Sports Council was given provisional national affiliate status by the Board.

Cindy Parlow Cone:

I guess not getting back to media on an inteview is not such a bad thing? The standout while with the USWNT ran unopposed when Carlso Cordiero was elected Prez. and she is now in through 2024. She defeated John Motta, USSF Board of Directors Adult Council Rep. and head of USASA. Cindy informed "It has been an honor to serve as your Vice President, and I look forward to continuing the work of growing the game. I am excited to continue our work in the game and passionate about building bridges." A HOF inductee in 2018, she had been with the USWNT 1996-2004, won titles at the grassroots, college & pro levels. In the last 2 decades, she had been on the US Soccer Referee, Medical Advisory & Appeals Committees as well as Athletes Council, lastly on the US Soccer Youth Task Force.

Juan Uro:

This partner at Enst & Young brings with him vast knowledge in Corporate strategy, growth strategy, capital allocation, perating model, operational govenance and orginizational design as an Independent Director to the Board. He keys on informing CEOs, Boards, CFO's and other like executives on his areas of expertise. More than two decades in this profession over a myriad of industries and parts of the world should serve him and the game well.

New Members:

There are now 113 Member Organizations, still low considering the past and each should help to advance the game at all recreatioanl and competitive levels.

Werner Fricker Honoree.

Ex-FIFA ref and a Referee Instructor of many years, Esse Maharmast took this at the awards dinner just after the National Council Meeting. He is the 2nd ref to have this high honor bestowed up himself along with Gerhard Mengel in 2005. Essse is the only Werner Fricker honoree with a career centered on growing the game for the officials in the states.
