Red Bull Arena now being painted, will host this prestigious game Thurs. Mar. 1 @ 8p.m. over Univision Deportes country wide, as well as Red Bulls Radio in English on TuneIn, that at starts 7p.m. with the pregame hosted by Matt Harmon & Steve Jolley.
The inital leg began well, as NYRB controlled the first half then Daniel Royer headed in a goal at the 31st minute. The 2nd half saw that equalled on a PK in the 73rd minute, but that goal by Daniel in being an away goal carries more weight. His goal had him scoring in all major North American competitions, MLS Regular season, Playoffs, US Open Cup and now CONCACAF Champions League in just 42 games played. Bradley Wright-Phillips also achived a benchmark as his assist gives him a goal and assist in each of these same games over 169 matches.
