Chicago Fire moves forward with Collier

By Sean McCaffery, February 6, 2020

Elliot returns to the club with a 3 year deal, the last two are team options. He was the 49th pick overall in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft, so great that such a late pick is still in the league, some validation to the draft. Thus far he has 17 games, 10 starts as well as time with USL Championship teams Indy Eleven & Memphis 901 FC during loan periods. 2018 saw him in the 11's colors for 11 games with a goal, last, it was with Memphis with 7 goals to show for 29 games. Amongst those 7 was the first in team history and the first hat trick.

Fire HC Raphael Wicky informed "Elliot has fully earned his new contract. He has impressed our staff with his desire to come in and work hard and he has continuously shown improvement after every training session."
