The Fire are back with voluntary workouts as the next level of getting back to full play in MLS. This will allow for far more improvements in fitness and technical training while keeping up the proper rules despite the small groups.
Ahead of getting to this step, the team had to deliver to the league their team specific plan gone over and approved by the medical staff of the team and the local infectious disease expert. This is to also fall in line with "Phase 3: Recovery" of the Restore Illinois plan. This does not allow for media access at the stadium, it only allows for players and essential staff.
