 Free agent Alan Gordon has joined the team with a contract guaranteed through this season. Nelson Rodriguez informs that he connects with the midfield well under duress, is excellent in the air things they are lacking, his skills with his mind set and dealing with whether he be a starter or sub has him as a great match. Last season Gordon was with Colorado getting 26 games and3 goals, in 2004 he was the 53rd overall pick in the draft by LA, his 2nd year, he was in 3 playoff games as they took the cup. Appearing a total of 99 times in the regular season with 16 goals and 12 assists, he was then traded to Chivas in 2010 getting one goal and 3 assists in 9 games. Off to Toronto for 2011 with 4 goals and an assist over 8 games, swapped to the 'Quakes in July 2011, getting 62 games with 17 goals and 10 assists before going back to LA, Aug. '14 seeing action in 5 playoff games and a second ring. His stats include, 55 goals scored 32 assists dished out over 271 regular season games going with 2 goals and 2 assists in 18 playoff games. From Long each CA, he was twice capped for the USMNT, a World Cup qualifieir and Gold Cup semi final.
