Chicago Fire get a Bobby to do Goal Patrol

Chicago Fire keep adding new pieces, this time it is Bobby Shuttleworth, the GK is a proven MLS vet, having been with the New England Revoluiton and Minnesota United FC from 2009-'19, gaining 185 games, all but 4 as starts. Last year, he had some time with USL Championship team Sacramento Republic FC.

Fire HC Raphael WIcky informed " Bobby is a true professional and a very experienced goalkeeper. His experience and knowledge of MLS will be very valuable for out team. I look forward to working with him".

HIs pro career kicked off with the Revs in 2009 with 127 games and 34 shout outs over 8 years, backstopping them to the 2014 MLS final and the 2016 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup final. 2017 then had him with MN via the expansion draft, over his trio of seasons with the Loons, he had a personal best 33 games that first year with 5 shutouts. Out of Tonowanda NY, he had 58 games over his time in MN then the young man went west to Sacramento with 15 games all starts.
