So many upgrades this season, stayed tuned for at least one more as Chicago's WGN now is the carrier of the Fire games for a few years for all locally shown games. The return to Soldier Field will see 24 of the 34 MLS games shown on WGN, 18 of them in prime time, 10 are already set for national broadcast. The first game will be the away game @ the Revs. Sat. March 7 at 12:30 p.m. CT. This partnership is to supplement the one with ESPN+.

"Chicago Fire FC:Homecoming", will first be shown on March 20 at 7p.m. CT on WGN of course, an all-access TV event covering the high number of energizing alterations since last season to go with the unique early look at the prodigal team as they are back at Soldier Field, first game, March 21 v Atlanta United. From April of 2020, the station will begin their own monthly program bringing new level viewpoints to the team with interviews and profiles of players, coches and fans. "GN Sports" a new program will have Fire segments often as it is shown M-F at 10:30 p.m. CT.
