'Caps get their Coaches

Incoming for the 2019 is a new coaching staff joining recently appointed head coach Marc Dos Santos. We have known him for a few years of his NASL time and he brings in a quality staff, some he is rather familiar with from his time in that league. Asst. coaches Vanni Sartini joins his brother Phillip Dos Santos and goalkeeper coach Youssef Dahna, each are now on multi year contracts. All told nearly half a century of experience has arrived in Canada between their playing coach and soccer educational histories. With having worked in half a dozen nations, and 5 languages combined Arabic, English, French Italian, Portugese & Spanish, they are set for the world's game. Head Coach Marc stated "Vanni, Phillip and Youssef are all passionate teachers of the game." 

Vanni Sartini: Coaching the USSF Pro Lisc. since its inception, 7 years in Italy coaching in his home nation, including AS Livorno's promotion to Serie A as an assistant in 2013. A holder of a UEFA Pro LIsc. and is fluent in English, Italian, & Spanish, also literate in and understands German. Vanni departed the USSF, following coaching in Italy he had 3 years with AS Mezzana, 2012 saw him with AS Livorno Calcio as an asst. where they were promoted to Serie A at the culmination of his first season. 2014-'15 had him coaching with Serie B side SSC Bari then it was off to the USSF Pro instruction. In 2015 he had his exposure at the international level with the Italian youth NT at the highest of levels, U-17, 19 & 21's. During this same time span he was a national coach educator in the Italy Federation 2010-2016.

Phillip Dos Santos: Asst. in USL for Indy Eleven, NASL teams Ottawa Fury FC & league titlests, San Franciso Deltas. This dual citizen of Canada & Portugal has a UEFA A lisc. He is fluent in English, French , Portugese & Spanish. His last job was with Indy prior he had been his brother's asst. in Ottowa and their TD in 2013-'15, dropping the Soccer Bowl to the NY Cosmos in 2015, then in 2017 he helped the Deltas to the NASL title over the Cosmos. In 2016, he was also an asst. with the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers. He was with the Canada National team, from 2011-'14 with their youth program, he holds both Canada & Portugese citizenship.

Youssef Dahha: GK coach with Ottowa in 2018 & Montreal Impact from 2004-'17. Dahaa hoped found the Montreal Impact Soccer Schools Advanced Centre for Goalkeepers serving as the GK Coach for the Canandian National High Performance Centre in Quebec and Quebec Soccer. The Belgium born Canadian citizen was raised in Moroccco and is fluent in Arabic, English, French & Italian.
