'Caps get Ricketts

Vancouve re-upped with fwd. Tosaint Ricketts, a NT player with Canada via a contract extension and now the 12 year pro is with the team through next year. As they enter the final run up to the new season getting one of their most tenured players back was a key as he is in the locker room. 

Axel Schuster team SD informed "We are building a roster here in Vancouver that includes a number of young professionals and it is important to have some experienced players who set the right tone and help guide the next generation. We are very pleased to have Tosaint at out club."

Tosaint came to the team in Aug. 2019, he had played in Finland, Romania, Norway, Turkey, Israel & Lithunaia. He is the #4 goalscorer for Canada playing there since 2009 with 17 goals over 60 games, in his career he has 331 games with 81 goals. A three year stint with Tronto FC and the 'Caps he now has 66 games in MLS with 16 goals and 24 starts. Out of Edmonton, He is one of 14 Canadian born players on the roster, half a dozen are on the NT.
