Boris Blows into the Windy City for the Fire

Sekulic of the Slovakian National Team has inked a deal through 2022, the defender transferred in from club team Gornik Zabrze of the Ekstraklasa league, Poland, bit harder to spell than is MLS.

Chitown HC Raphael Wickey stated "Boris is a talented and smart defender who will immediately strengthen our backline."

At just 28 he has 285 games from a long and varied time in the pros, Serbia, Slovkia, Bulgaria, & of late, Poland. Boris kicked off his career with 183 matches in the Slovak Super Liga, taking the Slovak Cup in 2013-'14, '16-'17 & '17-'18. June of 2018 had him then with CSKA Sofia of Bulgaria's First League and 12 games. 2019 it was then to Gornik Zabrze, an historic club in Poland, 2 years yieled a pair of goals over 3 dozen games, all starts. A duo of games for his national team as he became a Slovak citizen in Aug. of 2017, he saw time in the 2018 Kings Cup as they took the title. Boris is to join the Fire in preseson in LA.
