Bayern Munich & Univ. of Denver have Teamed Up

To score the best in education and athletics, these two institutions have joined together. The announcement today of this far reaching union has a top team on a world wide scale and this University exchanging thoughts on coaching and experience for those seeking employment in the sporting world and getting a degree in the states. Jorg Wacker a VP with Bayern stated, "FC Bayern is comitted to growing soccer at all levels in the U.S. We are delighted to partner with a leading university." This Uber Club from the Bundisligia not only gets together in an innovative partnership to share training methods and such, helping those enrolled, affording them a cultural exchange in Munich. Those within the FCB academy that meet the qualifications will also have the opportunity to avail themselves to Denver. FCB VP of the Americas, Rudolf Vidal informed, "We have a permanent presence in the US. With the Univ. of Denver, we are enabling young athletes. Other advantages to this link are access to the school's facilities for preseason work, getting together onĀ  other items which the team may utilize to research in particular other unions, and all staff and players will be able to take online courses. "We are dedicated to delivering the highest level of education. We will be able to support the club in their research initiatives as well as offfer their staff educational opportunities in the US", stated Rebeccca Chopp, U. of Denver Chancellor. BCF already have a link with Columbia by way of supporting the curriculum of their Sports Management Master's Program, with FC Dallas of MLS they have an elite player development program and have had great success in local soccer with Global Premier Soccer. Univ. Head Coach, Jamie Franks contributed," I'm thrilled about this partnership, the opporunity to benefit and observe some of the best , that we can then bring back to our program. We also look forward to this to help benefit our student-athletes and the University of Denver moving forward."
