FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Entering its tenth year in the Americas (2014), FC Bayern is relocating its New York based office to the historic Rockefeller Center.  The move to such an iconic location signifies a significant milestone for the club’s continued international growth and investment in the North and South American markets.  As a hub for business in the Americas, and in New York City, the German record champions plan to use the office to advance business interests in the region through continued development of new and current partners, expanded media alignments, promotion of youth soccer and a continued direct contact with fans and those that love the beautiful game.  The office is the first of three international offices that also include Bangkok (2022) and Shanghai (2017).  Managing Director, Americas, Dee Kundra will continue to lead the New York office.

There are currently over 200 FC Bayern fan clubs stretching across North and South America. Throughout the region, the German record champions have so far organized, among other things, a global partnership with PRIME Hydration, partnerships with the Tigres Femenil, the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs, MLS’s LAFC, the first commercial regional partnerships in Mexico and LATAM as well as numerous youth development events and FC Bayern World Squad.  Additionally, the US-based office continues to develop localized content series for the club in English and Spanish featuring current partners and fan clubs that enables the club to reach fans in their native languages and cultures.
