Montenegro forward Bledi Bardic scored three times (hat-trick) to lead New York Cosmos B to a 4:0 victory over visiting Kingston Stockade FC in the 2018 NPSL’s (National Premier Soccer League) Regular Season Finale at Columbia University’s Rocco B. Commisso Stadium on Saturday evening. The win also gave Cosmos B a perfect 10-0-0 record and sole possession of 1st place in the NPSL’s North Atlantic Conference heading into the postseason.
Polish forward Wojciech Wojcik got the hosts on the board in the 21st minute after an assist from defender Jonathan Borrajo.
Then, Bardic began his scoring spree with the first coming in the 25th minute-mark as Borrajo assisted on this second consecutive tally of the match.
Just before halftime, Bardic made it 3:0 in favor of Cosmos B off an eight-yard pass from forward Jalen Brown.
Bardic closed out his first team hat-trick, with 18 minutes remaining, off an assist from forward Zaire Bartley for the 4:0 final.
As the Number #1 seed in North Atlantic Conference, Cosmos B will host the opening round playoff encounter against Elm City Express of New Haven, Conn. (#4 seed) at Hofstra Soccer Stadium in Hempstead, Long Island at 7:30 pm ET.
