Baby Bull Gets Signed by First Team

Defender Rece Buckmaster a Hoosier by residence and University, was chosen in the 2019 MLS Super Draft and now is with the full squad following a half season with RBII. His 17 games included 15 starts, June saw him get a first team start facing the Revs in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. Sporting Director Dennis Hamlett stated, " We liked Rece when he drafted him and thought he had a furure with the team. A great deal of credit goes to John Wolyniec for helping Rece continue to develop and improve every day." A second round pick, 32nd, he had 82 matches with his University and assisted their back to back College Cup title games. Long Islander, HC Chris Armas had this to say, " Rece played well in the Open Cup and has impressed us in training, so we're pleased to officially add him to the first team." For his part, Buckmaster informed, "I'm very excited to sign a first team contract."
