NEW YORK (Monday, May 20, 2024) – FIFA World Cup defending champion Argentina is headed to Chicago and Washington D.C. for two June matches, and Head Coach Lionel Scaloni’s roster is filled with global stars – including Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria, Julian Álvarez, Emiliano Martínez, and many more.
The Argentine National Team today announced a preliminary list of 29 standouts for the team’s June U.S. Tour matches: Sunday, June 9 at Soldier Field in Chicago against Ecuador, and Friday, June 14 at Commander’s Field in Greater Washington D.C. against Guatemala. The full roster is available HERE:

Argentina’s roster is headed by their captain, Inter Miami CF playmaker Messi, an 8-time Ballon d”or winner, recognizing the best player in world. Messi is joined by fellow FIFA World Cup champions, Benfica midfielder Di Maria, Manchester City attacker and recently crowned EPL champion Álvarez, and Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez.
