Sean Dennison is now the Sr. VP , Communications & Media for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club, he had been a long-time exec. with MLS & SUM. New COO of the Fire, John Urban will also be working hand in hand with him as he takes care of all communication business, soccer, public relations, brodcast, social and digital media. GM Nelson Rodriguez, stated "Sean's experience, relationships, and creativitiy are well -recognized. His arrival is another example that the Fire is a choice for top professionals. While with SUM he was very active with all MLS teams and expansion groups. Dennison told, "I'm excited to bring my years of experience, honored to join Andrew Haputman Nelson Rodriguez, John Urban and the rest of the team." During his 13 years with MLS/SUM, he was involved with any number of aspects in each, MLS, the US & Mexican Nati'l team tours of the US, CONCACAF Gold Cup, Copa Centenario, MLS SuperDraft, MLS All-Star Games and MLS Cups as well as the start up of MLS WORKS. All this past work had MLS named 2008 & 2016 Sports League of the Year by Street and Smith's Sports Business Journal.
