Vancouver will get a first round pick in the 2023 draft from LAFC for a 2023 International spot. Although it will take some time to get a return on this, with so little time left in the year it will prove to be a great deal, maybe packaged with their natural pick for a higher spot in the draft? The Whitecaps still have one empty international spot left for the current season.

The leagues Discipline Committee determined Whitecaps Ali Adnan did in fact commit the act of simulation/embellishment during the game with LAFC on Oct. 14 in extra time. See the Facebook page of Soccer Vancouver Magazine for the video.
Erik Duenas was issued a caution, it will be removed as will any points for the discipline of the infraction will be removed from the total of LAFC.
