The team's 2020 Defender of the Year is back as Gina has a new deal, it is a one year contract with a 2nd year option.

Lewandowski informed "I am excited to sign another year with Sky Blue FC. This club has a vision and a bright future. I am grateful for the opportunity to keep playing close to home and build the game in the Tri-State area."

Remi Walker, a former youth international for France, now set to roam the midfield at Children's Mercy Parrk. The 25 year old inked a 3 year deal with a one year option for 2014, once his paperwork is done, he will take up an international spot. With over 200 games since 2012, he had played in France, and Turkey for a one year. At the U-17 & 21's he had been with his native France, he has played in top flite games not limited to UEFA Europa League, European Champions League qualifiers, French Ligue 1 with a trio of goals over 74 games and the Turkish Super Lig.

Today marked the last day of final postseason roster mechanisms on the year for MLS. A total of 5 players were grabbed up.

Joe Corona was picked up by Joe Corona he had been selected by Austin in the expansion draft. In that he was an option-declined player, Joe had the ability to be in this process. His not opting out of the Re-Entry had him able to be selected by another team, the Dynamo now hold his rights.

Adrien Perez from LAFC was picked up by by DC United.

Eric Dick last with SKC is now with MLS Cup winners, the Crew.

We last saw him at the Steve Nash soccer event in NYC 2 years ago with his mother, an inductee of the Long Island Soccer Player Hall of Fame, now we get to see him on TV scoring and doing oh so well in Germany with his Borussia Dortmund & of late, the USMNT.  In the Nov. 12 win facing a bit of a depleted Wales, Reyna became one of the bakers dozen of those less than 18 to be so capped.

Yes, the captain of the Stanford team is also on the USWNT U-20's who missed out on the World Cup due to Covid and she is now also named as the best of the young ones, Naomi Girma. She played a massive role as Stanford rolled to the 2019 NCAA title, she was of course the PAC-10 Defensive Player of the Year. During the 2020 Concacaf U-20 Championships, she lead the stout defense of the Red, White & Blue with half a dozen games of utter domination, taking the title in a 4-1 drubbing of Mexico in the final.
