The 25 year old player was part of the team garnering the 2018 NWSL Shield Sunday night as having the best record in the league as they stuck the Thorns 2-1, with her getting a brace at WakeMed Soccer Park, tying her for the league lead with 10 goals. Her first tally game at 37' as she buried the cross from forward, Jessica McDonald, she doubled the lead late in the first half getting on a cross in the box from Merritt Mathias that was bouncing about, shooting the way to her 2nd 2 goal game of the season.

After a year in the desert with Al-Gharafa SC in Qatar then with the Revs, the prodigal forward has returned for the princely sum of $250K in TAM, $100k in GAM + a 2020 natural first round pick as he occupies an international roster spot.  Now 29, in his first turn with SKC, he hit for 16 goals and 7 assists in just 33 games for the 2015 season.

Spanish side Real Madrid CF defeated Italian club AS Roma, 2:1, on Tuesday evening, during the annual exhibition club competition - International Champions Cup (ICC), before crowd of 51,528, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

Spanish international midfielder Marco Asensio opened the scoring for 33-time La Liga Champion - Real Madrid in the second minute, off an assist from Welsh international forward Gareth Bale.

The first responders were honored and hosted by the home team for the game that saw NYCFC without starting 'keeper Sean Johnson and suspeneded superstar, David VIlla give up one early and one late in the 2-2 tie. There were signs throughout the stadium and a halftime presentation. Sergio Villanueva was a member of the NYPD then switched to FDNY where he was lost on 9/11  after playing for both teams.

Though far apart in history and distance, only 5 points seperate the 2 in a nationally televeised game kicking offf at 6p.m. ET on FS1, Fox Sports GO & NYRB Radio in English and Spanish on TuneIn. The Radio goes live at 5p.m. with the Honda Countdown to Kickoff featuring Matt Harmon & Steve Jolly as Ernesto Motta takes over the game in Spanish for the play by play @ 6.
