In comparison, the full USMNT suffered its greatest defeat in the World Cup back in 1934 at the hands of Italy 7-1 while overall it is in 1948 when they lost to Norway, 11-0. A goal scored just less than every 7 minutes, with 55 shots is I feel, a bit excessive and a horrible ratio to boot. Although 3 subs were used, I wonder how the international soccer community will take this, in coming games should the USMNT have a game where they are not doing so well, might the opposition pour it on as a result of this.read
