A pair of friendlies with Mexico next month has had the preliminary roster named, including those with local ties, Kelley O'Hara ex Sky Blue player, Carli Lloyd of NJ and now with Sky Blue, Allie Long of Northport traded in the off season to Seattle, Crystal Dunn of Rockville Centre and traded from a team coached by a former LI player's team, Jim Gabarra to another who also coached here, Paul Riely & Savannah McCaskill of Sky Blue. Only 2 of those named were not on the 2018 SheBelieves Cup roster won by the USA over France, England & Germany. Becky Sauerbrunn back from a foot injury, Ashley Hatch the NWSL Rookie of the Year with NC Courage with 7 goals is on this roster but was not on the final for the SheBelieves Cup.
