With the league giving the go ahead on their explicet plans to get back with the full team, it began today. For now there is no media access and the team is followoing all rules of the MLS.

From USMNT player to now the longest tenured HC in MLS, Peter has been busy today. Following the draw for the MLS is Back Tourney, shown on the big screen at his home field of Children's Mercy Park, he next did a presser from the field, then this. As ever the auido is not perfect in such things so I am sure I missed a great deal of things. He is glad to be back at it and looks forward very much to getting to games at Disney.  He feels that yes, it will be a challenge for his team, but no different than that of all other teams as they are all headed into the same situation.

Yesterday we brought you details on this return event for the MLS, now we have the first game and 2 teams from one group. The league wanted to keep the first game an All Florida event, thusly Orlando City will be going up against Inter Miami July 8, both will be in Group A. OCSC will be the seeded team in A1 in that they are the Home Team throught the 54 games to be played at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at DIsney as Miami will be team A2. All other teams will be set at the draw, only this Group A will have more than a quartet of teams.

MLS is back and in a big way, a massive tourney, multiple games a day from Disney. Teams may arrive as early as June 24 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex, as games begin July 8, they and staff will occupy the full of 2 hotels, making it far easier for them to control who they come into contact with. Garber gave big praise to DIsney for their trust that this is able to be carried out at their ESPN facility, all 54 games with 3 games minimun during the first round, ala World Cup style, it then goes to knockout stages on Aug.

The Fire are back with voluntary workouts as the next level of getting back to full play in MLS. This will allow for far more improvements in fitness and technical training while keeping up the proper rules despite the small groups.
