Covanta has joined the New York Red Bulls, with the world leader in sustainable waste and energy solutions for comunitiies and businesses well represented in the arena. Based in Morristown NJ, they are now the Official Energy Partner of NYRB. The Energy-from-Waste facility in Newak provides renawable energy to RBA. They use post-recycled waste form municipalities and businesses to make clean energy. This is a sustainable choice over a landfill destination and reduces green house gases. This facility is the only big source with a net negative greenhouse gas footprint.

From the LIJSL Albertson Fury, to the ENYYSA ODP program and now to overseas, Amanda Rooney heads off to the Lithuanian title holders, Gintra Universitetas, who have held the title for 13 years. Already having 2 national titles from the WPSl, as well as an All-Star nod in 2014, and NCAA while with USC,  Amanda hopes to add a few from Lithuania.

The defender will be out for the whole of the series of games with Mexico due to being hamstrung by her hamstring. We will have at least one photograher at the game in Houston on the 8th of April. Of late, 2 other players were added  to the camp as U-23 defenders Tegan McGrady and Haley Hanson got their first call ups. Hanson was the #7 pick in the recent NWLS draft in Philly and played all of both Dash games this year, ties 1-1 with Chicago and a scoreless draw with Utah in their first ever meet, she had been with the U-23's last year and earlier this year.

Last years' 2nd place team in the NWSL hosted local team Sky Blue beating them in added time 1-0. Jessica McDonald, a 2nd half addition for the victors found the back of the net as the undefeated Courage at 2-0-0 kept the NJ team winless on the year. Long Island legend and NC coach, Paul Riley stated "The game grinds on you. I think they worked hard." With a massive advantage in shots taken 22-3 the Courage were goaless as full time approached and passed even with many great chances.

Sean Melvin is now tied to the 'Caps with a homegrown contract for 2018 including options for '19, '20 & '21, once his transfer is fully aproved he will be on the MLS roster. Coach Carl Robinson stated, "Sean is another product of what we're trying to build with our development system. He approaches his craft with the right mentality and work ethic."  Looks good for the future of this goalkeeper in the Pacific northwest. For his part, Melvin informed, "I'm really excited to be back and to now sign with the first team.
