With the New York Red Bulls hosting CD Guadalajara (Chivas) in the second-leg of the 2018 CONCACAF Champion League Semifinals on Tuesday, we take a historical look back at another club from the "Big Apple" that represented the United States at the annual confederation club tournament.

The New York Pancyprian-Freedoms, founded in 1974, competed in consecutive CONCACAF Champions' Cups (1983, 1984)

New COO of the Fire, John Urban will also be working hand in hand with him as he takes care of all communication business, soccer, public relations, brodcast, social and digital media. GM Nelson Rodriguez, stated "Sean's experience, relationships, and creativitiy are well -recognized. His arrival is another example that the Fire is a choice for top professionals. While with SUM he was very active with all MLS teams and expansion groups.

STATSports APEX GPS Units are going to USNT and USSDA Clubs. THe world's largest GPS partnership will cover the U.S. Men's Women's, Youth, Paralympic, Futsal, and Beach National Teams, Development Academy clubs and NWSL. This will lead to the soccer people being able to glean all sorts, millions of pieces, of data at a time on the players perfomance. Distance covered, heart rate, speed, acceleration, deceleration, high speed running and load. These devices were on grand display as the players for the USWNT players coming off the field then having this devices removed from them.
